MELAKA food!!!
------

i am back from melaka, malaca or whatever you call it. it was a fun, overnight trip lang. my local friends were right to say that overnight lang, pwede na, and we dont need to stay 3d/2n, the best part was kahit walang tulog, we were able to relax, and just hang around, i mean how often can you do that?!

the food was good, we didnt eat at those really cozy european type of cafe's but we were able to eat local food, really immersing ourselves in the culture for a day at least.

A&W rootbeer float on the way home. saya!

geographer cafe's cakes and pastries, as recommended by joui, we had a little break from walking along jonker street, which sells antiques and a whole lot more.

since macau was a previous colony of portugal, natural may egg tart, at siyempre di ko napigilan ang sarili ko kahit kakatapos pa lang namin maglunch, 1 costs around RM2.

my own precious box, pero di siya masyadong masarap, pwede na, pero not that fantastic, mas gusto ko pa ang lord stows.

its the first time i ever tried of chicken rice balls, and malaca is famous for this, as in pila pila talaga.

haianese chicken of malaca, medyo kadire pagnasa tabo pa, pero masarap na when you are eating it.

milk tea and lime juice, iba ang lime juice in malaca versus the ones in singapore, but both masarap.

i have never eaten satay this way, usually kasi grilled siya eh then dip lang sa peanut sauce. this satay is weird, parang shabu-shabu ang style, with different kinds of meat, uncooked, then dip lang sa peanut sauce then pwede ng kainin.

the peanut sauce, oil, peanut and sugar combined.

wished we were able to stay and try different places, but then all things come to an end, i just look forward to the next trip.
