trying my luck with technology
------
as i have been saying over and over again, i ma the most untechy 25 years old there is. its just so hard to understand and adapt, though i dont think i will have problems with it, its just too tiring to learn. i think it was better if i was born on the 60s or 70s.
anyway, my contract with singtel is due, and i checked out new phones. was supposed to get NOKIA 6500 slide phone, but the SA told me that, its not advisable to get such an old phone in this generation. whatever that is, it feels like he's judging me while i inquire about it. then when he asked what i look for in a phone, i replied that call and sms it is. he just told me to look around as all phones can do that. malamang.
with selwyn's persuasion and mechie's patience, i decided to get this
Apple iPhone 3G 8GB, with contract, S$348.
before they swiped my card, i was hesitating already, cause i would then need to adjust my contacts one by one. but sige na nga, fine, lets try. i was so stressed with it that i had 2 glazed donuts and 1 cafe latte. punyeta.
if i give up on this phone, i will sell it to either aggie or cho. good thing though may ipod siya, and i lost my ipod diba, so i can use it na din for gymming purposes.
EDIT: thanks to ryan for uploading songs... :)

i got my haircut for $10, yay! same hairstyle, i dont need that stylist from downstairs. she is nice, but the haircut is like S$30. that $30 can pay 3mos worth of haircut, plus the fact that i need to do some cost cutting.

i should add that ti my "i want" list... :p
they sell it naman in HCM right? i have friends who bought it from there.
hey how are you doing with that? it helps tlaga when you have a mac computer, esp with the contacts. :)
question - since you got it with contract, are you still allowed to download all sorts of applications?
hindi talaga akong techny na tao. but from what i'vw heard, no problem naman with downloading applications.
also for the contact, i think di lang siya sa MAC compatible. so... i maybe wrong though. :)
yeah, they do. :) i might save up for it after i buy all the other things i want to get my greedy hands on. :p
haha. well expat ka naman, so you can definitely afford. make sure to get the 3G one.
well the apps kasi you can download through the phone, using installer :) so you have to be online. i guess it's still works. concerns eh. haha i was thinking about getting the 3g but i've decided that i don't need to change mine, i just need to upgrade it.
as for contacts, i think you can sync also using your pc - may tutorials naman on the apple site how (last i checked) :)
pwede i-upgrade? galing.
well, apple naman comes out with software upgrades regularly. my iPhone is first gen eh, not 3g :) so i'd rather upgrade it than buy a new one. insanely mahal din sya dito.
wow! naka-iphone ka na pala! was thinking of getting it here too kaya lang still considering kasi mahal din ang data charges, unless you always have some wifi connection wherever you go. oks lang diyan sa sg kasi maraming free wifi connection c/o wireless@sg.
you should get one, kasi im sure magenjoy kayo ni ahya ichi knowing na super techy pa kayo.
like for me kasi main role pa din is for SMS and call, but the ipod really works for me, since i lost mine.
i have never downloaded any application pa. hahaha!
