jakarta, march 2009
------
so i was in jakarta last week for the java jazz fest 2009. one thing i can say is that i am not a big fan of jazz, although i did enjoy jason mraz' performance. he was good, the voice quality is consistent, from the record to live performance, and because of that, i bought a CD of his latest album for me and sarah.
plus now, i want to buy his first 2 albums, i am a semi fan now. HAHA! i like GRAND INDONESIA which is a new mall in JKT, its big and you can do everything there, so i enjoyed it a lot. i went to ALUN-ALUN to buy souvenirs for my mom and some friends.
jason mraz performing on stage.
after a few days in jakarta, we went to bandung, which is 2 hours away, where all the outlet malls are. fortunately, i didn't like anything at all, so i saved up money instead of buying a whole lot of stuff.
brownie kukus store in bandung. you know how brownies are usually baked, but kukus i think means that it is steamed, and it tastes good as well. i bought one and brought to the office. it cost me around IDR 50,000 for 2, or S$6.50. damn cheap!
brownie kukus enjoyed at home.
view from the top of our hotel room in bandung. we got 2 floors, yay! i love this boutique hotel too, and the fact that it is so damn cheap, S$100 for 4 people, and the bed is real comfy. i vowed not to come back to bandung, but i changed my mind and i will just to stay in this hotel.
i like this toilet a lot, this was one of the outlet stores, i like the naturey feel of it, nakakatanggal ng stress.
