MALACA TRIP
------
2 to 3 hours bus ride from singapore, and you arrive in malaca, the part of malaysia which has european/portugese influence, somehow like macau, but i have never visited macau. so sa january na lang ang comment regarding macau. actually, i know that i wont be coming back to malaca in the next few years, but it was nice to have been there, talaga R&R, just eat, relax, walk, eat, coffee, walk.. yon na yon. i can say that overnight trip is OK na, rather than to stay there for 3d/2n.
view from the room i shared with kev ang. the room itself is very spacious, parang 1br condo which has everything naman that we needed, most importantly, the breakfast was good, especially the local malaca coffee.
this is jonker street, where theres a lot of antique stores. actually its like this street in manila, na malapit sa fat michaels, which sells a lot of vinyl records and old furnitures. shit, i forgot the name of the place, but i have visited that na. arg! so its somthing like that.
the town itself was pretty quiet, at ang daming good places to eat. though we never did the tourist thingy of visiting places, kasi di naman masyadong interesting.
beautiful colored flowers in the town area, i saw something like this sa hongkong disney, but shades of blue and purple naman.
fountain that may somehow replicate european or portugese architecture.
bukit st.peter, or st. peters chruch on top of the mountain, though we didnt go there kasi ang taas and masakit na mga paa namin.
we had lunch at this chicken rice ball store, which they say was quite famous, it took us 30 minutes before we even could sit down, one thing though, kahit over busog na kame, ang mura lang ng food, compared to singapore standards ah. for example, a fridya night out would cost $50 per person, but the dinner for 8 costs S$50 lang. saya diba?
of course i dont have pictures in my own camera, cause i just keep taking their pictures, this one is while trekking their roads, kevp was our official tour guide, with mel as our official mama bear who arranges everything for us. it was fun, all of us played a role to do something naman.
ikot-ikot lang, ang init at ang alikabok ay over. nung naliligo ako nung gabe, black ang tubig dahil sa alikabok na kumapit sa akin, tama ba naman yon?!
just walking around town..
while waiting for our satay to cook, picture muna, here with nas and joey tan!
mel and kevin ang's turn.
having dinner at the satay store, dylan, kev poh and emily. its funny since im having a hard time calling his name, i just called dylan, D. and nas called him D na din, so now he is D.
on the way back to singapore, nasa bus.
the only picture of me in my camera, wala akong magawa. half of the time in the bus i was sleeping lang.
uhm, san kaya ang next?!
