dinner at SUN with MOON

had our long anticipated dinner at SUN with MOON at CENTRAL in clark quaye. after a long and busy day at work, and with rebecca getting all stressed and pissed, we just had to go. oh, funny thing, we (rebecca is our creative group head, i'm in account management and our company for that evening was DES, our client.) she picked us up at around 8.50pm, then we all went straight there, and ate.. we were really hungry by that time.

des had sukiyaki ($16.80), reb had oyster and mushroom kamameshi ($14.80), and i had salmon kamameshi ($14.80); we also shared a serving of soft shell avocado roll ($12.80) and had black sesame ice cream ($4.00) for dessert. a total of around $85 for the three of us. most of the time spent that evening was just really chatting about work, gossip, personal life and etc.

kamameshi! ohmy! namiss ko ang kamameshi way back then, i remember, we (my family) would always eat there on sunday's since its one of my favorites, i usually take the one with beef and sukiyaki, talk about beef overload. when i tasted the rice last night, memories just really came back to me instantly.

it's sad that i wasn't able to take pictures of last night, but the good news is we are going to do it again -- as my going away dinner with another client, eng hwa, des' teammate.. they called me to reserve next thursday to eat seafood. well, i'm just lucky that some of my clients are really nice, actually most of them. its just nice to have developed friendship with them more than just professional relationships. well, i can say that i am blessed on that part, actually in most ways.

i have to say thanks to helen for letting me borrow mika's CD. i am truly enjoying his music, i have heard of him from a long time now, but didn't have the chance to listen to his music. it was really good, just really nice. i mean, i wish i could listen to lilly allen and amy winehouse too.. but mika is really a discovery, i love "HAPPY ENDING" and "MY iNTERPRETATION", versus his more famous songs "LOVE TODAY" and "GRACE KELLY", maybe i could discover more songs..

i would post the lyrics next time, its really N-I-C-E!!!!
