SPAGGEDIE's and STEAMBOAT
------

it's either i haven't tried a good italian place here in singapore, or i just dont want to spend that much when i can get a chicken rice at $4. HAHA! ang cheap. anyway, i have eaten spageddie's before, but its the first time am blogging about it (i think), i usually go to paragon and have that, but this time around, we were at marina square.

smoked salmon pizza. YUM!

starters, fried finger foods, mozarella cheesesticks, calamri and softshell crab.

ravioli - i like s pizza's raviolo - its the bestest. this was not so good. i was expecting more of spinach and cream cheese inside, but i dont know - it tasted like mushroom. blech.

the whole starcom singapore was in marina square because of the bowling tournament event, which eventually my team, team GRP lost. it was fun cause we really don't get to mingle with the 7th floor people, so it was nice to get to know some of them, if not all.

---

i've always had hotpot in manila, i guess being chinese, i was just too familiar with it. mom would always cook this at home, since dad is such a fan of hotpot. we would always have noodles, fresh shrimp, meat, squid and fish balls, raddish, tofu, green leaves, etc - and base pork brothe that takes a long time to boil.

shangri-la (not the hotel) in west ave is one of dad's fave place, i ate there a few times, i remember once when the waiter had to put live shrimps in the boiling pot. kawawa the shrimp, but it turned out to be really fresh and good.

rebecca and carmen planned to get some steamboat, so we had one in purvis street, somewhere in bugis. its eat all you can steamboat (thats how they call it here), costs $21 per person. i made lambing to carmen, so she did treat me this time. i treated her the last time naman. the funny thing is when we were done, the waitress was shocked because people usually stay 3 long hours for steamboat dinner since its eat all you can nga. i dont have that time to waste, and i was damn full na.

carmen helping me cook, 2 brothes, one spicky pork, and one chicken.

the food we ordered, we have to cook pa.

thats all for now, as planned, i will be staying in this week, so next week, i have a plan to consume everything that is free. YAY! ill update on that.
