guess what i had for LUNCH

menudo and adobo. yes, thats what i had for lunch. nas and i went to have lunch @ cafe 3D that serves authentic filipino dishes, 2 viands, with rice and drink costs around S$5, cheaper than those restaurants in lucky plaza. i liked the ambiance, its cozy, with troy playing in the dvd screen, and a lot of pinoys eating. and the best thing is, its open for 24 hours. wow!

so the funny thing was, when i was supposed to order
"isa nga pong adodo, at menudo.. at iced tea.." - me
"ay pinoy ka pala? kala ko..." - waitress

i was like thinking duh. i dont think someone not filipino will go and eat at the restaurant right? and the weird thing is when nas ordered, the lola at the counter was saying, "ito naman mukhang pinoy pero di marunong mag tagalog, kung sino ang di mukhang pinoy, marunong mag tagalog.." HELLOW. HAHAHA. o sige na lola.

so it was a fantastic lunch, the encounter was amusingly weird.

im quite fully packed this week, im watching movie with officemates on a wednesday night (the black sheep), meeting up mech(missed my cousin, in the truest sense of the word) and sel maybe on thursday dinner, and have to catch an early flight back to manila, and then lagare na naman. i wonder san kame magdinner, they are asking me to think, but di ako makaisip. sana friday na!

i have a few plans while back in manila though

- meet dyan, bespwet and ags, how about lin? for dinner or lunch.
- have a lovely surprise for a dear friend.
- bon's birthday on the 8th of august, and etc.
