can you imagine that with all the designer brands singapore has, they don't have krispy kreme's (layo, but my point is HK has them nga eh).. well one of the reason they said was that it didn't suite their tastebuds, krispy kreme was too sweet for them, which is actually true. none of the cakes here are sweet, their mildly sweet if ever.
this donut factory has opened since last year, and since there is always a long queue for this (and i mean loooong), i never really bothered to try. but alisha, our creative service manager went gaga over this donut, that one friday, we decided to queue for 1 hour and 30 minutes just to grab some. i grabeed one dozen - double chcolate, apple cinnamon, peanut butter, original glaze, i shared mine with the whole of servicing team.
i like peanut butter and double chocolate.
thye say mint was good but i never really ordered since i dont like mint. ano bang lasa yon, parang choclate tapos ang toothbrush ka, semi-weird.
one of our art directors audre ordered chocolate kaya, which i dont dare try. kaya is for toast, kaya nga kaya toast. i asked her how was it, and she told me she ate it for breakfast, so mala-kaya style breakast nga, maybe with semi-boiled egg and tea tarik pa yon. haha!
