last night in MANILA

i can't seem to think how to organize my posts, i keep on cancelling food shots, et al. so i thought why not just group it as per event that happened, but there were so many events, and all of those were absolutely fun. i really can't wait to be back. though, i have a few options, i really need to weigh those things, i can either go back or save those leaves for another occassion and just go to a different place. anyway..

here are some of the pictures from SERENDRA, for a more complete list, please go to my multiply, ena and joan also brought their camera's. some random things:

(1) ena is super payat, nainggit ako, ako din.
(2) sonja is super nice. i swear by her cupcakes, kahit mahal siya, its worth it for me, and i guess its also worth it for every dessert lover in the country. flavors that topped my lists: berries and cream, berry delight, choco cream pie, red velet.
(3) ang saya to see pedi, ainee, and all of them, kasi all of us ay wala na sa GASSO, so it was semi-reminscing na nga.


met them for dinner at ZAO, vietnamese bistro. i feel that their service was like that of a soft opening, and how could it happen that on 2 separate dishes, there were 2 strands of hair. please lang, mura lang ang hair net. decision: i wouldn't go back to this place. i didn't even take pictures na of the food we ordered.


since they treated pedi and me sa ZAO, we treated them for camomille tea and cucpakes. SONJA's. ordered creme brulee, berries delight, berries and cream, choco cream pie, and flourless chocolate cake. yum!

oh and since i introduced myself to her and she remembered me, she gave these free cupcakes and wished me a happy trip. take note, i was supposed to order for takeout, but she just gave it to me for free, since she is grateful daw.

thats the second time she gave me free cupcakes, last saturday, i also went there with julette, ordered 3, and gave me 3 more for free, complemetary daw from her. exag. nahihiya na nga ako eh. she gave me choco cream pie, flourless chocolate cake, etc.

it was really a nice experience, being there for good dessert, and good company. next time naman ulit.
