CHINATOWN aka SINGAPORE'S VERSION

I remember that in my previous blog (www.tonlim0129.blogspot.com), i had previously posted a trip to chinatown in binondo, where i feasted on DEC, and etc. Now, with Marj here in Singapore. I can have the excuse to go to Chinatown and eat some good dimsum and food that they have to offer.

Friday dinner has never been this good, cousins and rommel (marj's friend that's working here in sg too) went to meet in Chinatown for dinner and a little tiangge shopping.



A dessert to remember. My "ama" lola in filipino, always makes this glutinous rice balls with peanuts inside. And so everytime i eat this, i remember her, too bad that it has been 14 years since she passed away.

LAKSA. okay i love this laksa, and also the one in people's park center. very good.


fried oysters omelette. you will just love itm i prefer the one with more strarch in it. i've also tried the one in geylang, and its good too. will post picture of that some other time.

after having dinner, achi mich, ahya ichi and ej went home already, and the three of us went karaoke singing. my friend corona extra with lemon accompanied us throughout the night.

it was one of the best friday nights here in singapore. iba talaga ang mga pinoy, they really know how to have fun. anyway, weekends coming, and i cant wait for the things we will do next.
