OMAKASE lunch
------
i've been dreaming of eating at omakase since way back in 2006, nasa GASSO pa ako non, but i never had the chance because their only 2 branches would be eastwood and alabang. i told ags, na i wanted to eat at OMAKASE pag-uwi ko, and she told me meron na daw sa morato. it was a bright and happy monday lunch for us, and we also asked tita bot to join us.
we ordered a lot of food, as in a lot. imagine, our total bill would be Php 1,700+ for just the 3 of us. tita bot paid anyway, but still babuyan to the max.
we started off with the philadelphia roll, some kind of a tuna with cream cheese, and i love cream cheese so much so i got this one, Php 195.
10 pieces of sashimi for Php 170, not bad.
tofu wrapped in beef, this is my second favorite tofu dish aside from teriyaki boy's tofu steak.
tita bot and ags munching on great japanese food.
tita bot also orderd gindara, i loved the skin part of it, crispy and good.
a combination of chicken and beef tepanyaki, Php 290. masarap ang gulay.
dragon roll, Php 200 (ata).. i loved the taste, may spring onion ata sa loob thats why it really tasted different, fumu-fusion ang sushi's nya. and the sauce was like teriyaki sauce in mayonnaise. so it was really kaka-iba, unusual from my normal soy sauce and wasabi.
i'd go back to try different sushi naman, i'm happy with it. thank god, there's a lot of good japanese resto's here in sg so i won't miss it that much. actually, there's also a lot of good ramen here. yum! i can't wait for our pinoy lunch later, i hope it pushed through.
