chillaxin' on saturdays...

saturdays was always about chillaxin'.. having a home-cooked meal, dvd marathon's, pouring my heart out in the gym, trying out a new place/resto.. and these past saturdays of mine was about that.

3 saturdays ago, after fetching my sister in school, we decided to have an afternoon snack in fat michaels. well it turned out to be dinner for us, but i must say they offer good food. the pasta with spareribs was the highlight of my meal. the pizza with tomatoes on it and kesong puti was also good. my sister actually liked the pizza more than the pasta. we also tried the open-faced beef, fish and chips and a pitcher of their iced tea. basically, everything was good. except for the fish and chips-nothing to go gaga over. after this, we went straight to bangkal - the thrift place. well, i havent seen anything nice to buy so i just kept my money. haha!

maguro - i was actually eager to try out this take-out japanese store, but never really knew where it was located. luckily, ena and i talked about it and she knew the place. its along kalayaan ave lang pala, kinda near. so as usual, i got myself 100g of salmon sashimi, i was thinking also of getting unagi, but my big belly is resisting food na. so i went with the family favorite.. 100 grams was Php200. The salmon was fresh and good, swerte lang siguro yung dating ko kasi bago nga daw. Tita Bot, Ags, cho and tj liked it so much.. so i guess it was worth it.

figaro - banawe welcome's a new coffee place around, and ive been going there ever since. iced tea was still a top favorite drink, for cakes - my little oscar still tops my list. for the food, garlic and cheese pizza, and 5 cheese is hella good.

was just in UPd, and had isaw ng manok at baboy, tenga, and dirty ice cream - avocado flavor. i miss avocado, since i was informed that its the most fattening fruit, i never had it in any form. hahaha! ang saya ng saturday at sunday sa UP, walang tao, pwede ka mag stroll around, and drive around. ang saya lang, walang traffic as usual.

enough about food talk.. balik na sa work! (the smile on my face suddenly fades away...)

ps. i couldnt post pictures, kasi peste ang PLDT, ayaw pa kami lagyan ng DSL. kung ayaw niyo ng customer eh di wag...!!!!!!

i was thinking not to write about work anymore, since i was too busy thinking about it. i was on field all day and NIGHT! trying to find respondents who'll agree to talk to us.. (thank you to those who have been very kind and accomodating :p) for the past 3 days, wala ako sa office, and i barely dont have the time to do my paperworks, eh ang dami ng nakatambak. tomorrow, we will be off to bulacan, then to SWS is QC. haaay. paano ako mag check request for mondays FGD?! ano baa.... bahala na. ho-hum.

i am excited to post my recent holy week retreat in nueva ecija, which will bne postponed due to so many factors. haha! i am also excited about my upcoming trip in pagudpod.. sana matuloy na ito ah, we are planning a 29-30-may1 trip, parang long weekend. pero ang mahal, saud beach resort is 4,600 for 1 night.. grabe, the other naman is 2,300 lang pero fully booked na, its marina ivory ata.. bahala na. will need to confirm this.

just last tuesday, i learned that something will be happening internally. this made me think about me and my future much more. i mean, being relocated and transfered to a place that is uncertain?! pano yun? i mean, oo secure naman kung secure pero parang di ko man lang alam, bigla na lang. parang nakakaloko... i better think about this. i know, and i keep telling myself na it will be the same, pero i know na it is not. siguro, takot lang ako sa isang unfamiliar place or territory, or baka sanay na kasi ako for the past year i've been doing things this way.. and it will be all different in the coming months or next month na mismo. dont want to ponder about this... it will all end.

its been a while since i last posted stuff.. actually there is nothing to say naman. wala namang nangayayri. i'm just excited about the up coming holy week. being able to get to rest for 4 straight days is just sheer joy! i though that going to the province would be a bore - but some of my cousins will be there, and we are just planning an adventure! hahaha! either road trip, a trip to the beach, river, get a full body massage for only (P50), eat halo-halo (P15), mami (p8) or isaw (P3).. im excited to do these things again!

i was thinking about food lately, since i was doing research on that topic. and since i did conprobe, i have learned new resto's to die for daw. so being my curious self, i want to go and try it.. NOW!

here are the list:
- seryna in mcs, nanbantei in gb3, cable car in pasong tamo, carpaccio in yakal, il contro and cafe maestro in n.garcia, circles in makati shang, maguro in qc, ziggurat in polaris st, pasha in gb3, fat michaels, teri's, milan - korean resto in vargas ave (they call it the hole in the wall - since it is a really secret place), swagat in rada, aling lucing's in pasong tamo, and fiama in jupiter.

my list could go on and on, but nagugutom lang ako so i better stop! hahaha!

i also wanted to go and cook right now, but tinatamad ako. maybe thats what ill do tom (saturday), i can cook the whole day - either pasta, chicken breast or my uber-yummy version of french toast! , also might have roti and coffee after. yeeeaaa!!!!
