VIL'AGE at HEREEN
------

i haven't tried MARCHE at VIVO CITY, its like a european style eatery, where you get a card from the entrance, and just swipe whatever you want, then pay at the cashier on your way out. deadly pala to, you tend to overspend and overeat. HAHA! jessica decided to spend her birthday there, in fairness it is a nice place naman and they serve good food.

some samples i/we had/shared..

ceasar salad, a must for rebecca.

dark chocolate cake baked by carmen for jessie

banana caramelised crepe with walnut ice cream, carmen and i shared this, it was sooo goood! kelangan balikan.

my starter - mushroom soup, i was thinking whether to get mushroom or asparagus. but i decided to go with mushroom, for reasons i dont know why.

since namiss ko ang crispy pata, i had a fill of german pork knuckles with beef gravy. YUM!

oh, i missed these people a lot, especially carmen and liza, its been such a long time that i havent seen them, but they are really good friends of mine, i had such a great time at my previous agency because of them.

i insisted na we have our picture taken.

this picture is with rebecca and francis (reb's friend)

yeah still the three of us as our makulit-selves. hahaha!

liza told me that we should schedule dinner at her place and her mom will cook, i also booked them na to reserve one day in febfor me since mom and dad wants to meet them. so... there!

LOMO-me & an apology
------

last saturday, i went around with mechie kasi she was so excited to finish the remaining film in her lomo, so we walked all the way to chinatown, and while waiting for a cab to bugis, she took two pictures of me. one is face front, while the other is this. ayoko ng i-post ang face front. HAHA!

this weekend, gagamitin ko na ang namana kong lomo from mech. i will bring it on friday to use it at the office, and show some friends, and take a picture here na din. then i will use it on jessica's party on saturday. yay!

i'm really not in the mood these past few days, at kung natawagan, na-ym, email or distorbo kita with my mood swings, sorry naman to disturb you, i just feel like shit.

well, first ever lomo pic of me

BOBBY's
------

i like going to chijmes, the ambiance is nice, especially during the evenings. its nice to sit down, chill and have some cold drink, like the cranberry juice i ordered. last time i went there was with mech and sel as well, and now were back.

before, we had dinner at hog's breathe cafe, its a very good meal indeed. it originally came from australia, and they brought it here to singapore. they had very good steaks, and their hog's tails aka mala-twister fries is unforgettable, just really good old american food.

based on selwyn's advise, we went to try bobby's (something new for me to try), dating bobby rubino's (not sure of the name?!) if i'm not mistaken, they didnt renew the franchise contract na but the food was the same, actually everything was the same.

we sat outside, and it was a fairly beautiful evening.

ceasar salad with smoked salmon

beef ribs which was really tasty, i never really am a fan of ribs, but theirs was good. i like theirs better than brewerkz in clark quaye.

barbecued chicken with baked potato

it wasn't that bad, but i don't think i'll come back for more, mas gusto ko ang hog's breathe, i had a much better experience there rather than sa bobby's, medyo di ko sila gusto.

SHOPPING PARTNERs
------

it's been 4 or 5 months since i haven't seen mech and sel, and thank GOD, i saw them today, and basically spent the whole day with mech, and half a day with sel. we went to all the places, we used to go to, and some.

went to club street for fred perry, and all those shops we used to go tp; front row, where i got my umbro by kim jones woven shoes; style:nordeic, selling swedish wares and clothes. went to haji lane and got pluck'd for some bluberry cheesecake ice cream and brownies; bras basah for G&B comics, simpsons toy; louis vuitton at raffles hotel; and ang dami pa.

went to eat dinner at chijmes, it was quiet and full of conversation, i like it that way.

mech was telling me there was a relocation sale daw in converse, bugis; at first parang okay i dont really like the styles they were selling, until i saw this pair! nasa likod kasi siya, and in front, they were selling all those normal stuff.

ah, new pair of shoes, i remember last week i was so depressed kasi naubos na ang size of the marc jacobs vans shoes (polka dots, blue), and inaabangan ko pa naman yon. kainis!

i like this, and it fits me well, i like this better than the black jack purcell i got in bangkok.

--

mech gave me her holga! yay! thanks, am so excited to use it, but i want to use it in subjects that really matters to me, ayaw ko ng shoot lang ng shoot, especially if the film (with 12 shots) costs me around $10, and developing fees would amount to $16. i will bring it if ever tuloy ako sa hk/macau this january.

it looks so nice, napaka-70's. i remembered i was suppose to get one before, pero naisip ko baka paglaruan ko lang ng one month than byebye na. buti na lang mech is getting a diama (lomo cam) and then magui-guilty daw sha if she has this holga pa. so she gave it na lang to me.

i am excited to use it, maybe i will bring it sa office this friday to test it, or maybe on saturday since i'm going to jessica's party.

or maybe, i can bring it to the tika-tika exhibit (lomo users). 14 of mech's photo was chosen and i will be there to support her, oct 6 and 7 at the red dot museum.

--

wishlist, i want the fred perry bag, i am still thinking about it, but feeling ko gusto ko na sha! go and check their site at: http://www.fredperry.com/estore/default.asp?store=menshirts

they have them in blue, green and black.

hay, LORD, thanks for today!

holiday dreaming
------

okay, i finally booked my flight back to manila for the coming holidays, ang aga noh? but its much better that way para habang mas mura pa ang flights.

one thing thats keeping me happy right now is the thought of going to macau and hong kong early next year. here's why, i took a long break from the office, around dec 25 to jan 10, around 3 weeks, but naisip ko sayang naman ang leaves ko if i will just stay in manila, so i better go somewhere.

since i was dreaming of macau since jan 2006, i thought na it was just perfect to go there, at siyempre since isang ferry away na lang ang hong kong, eh di go na din.
i've researched na and i am all set...

flights - check. manila-macau-hk-manila. jan 3 to 6. good thing, the flights are really cheap, less than 10k!

itinerary: arriving at 9pm in macau, go straight to casino and hotel buffet that my friend recommends, which has oh-so-good lobsters. sleep, then on the 4th, go to city proper and tour the cathedrals and plaza, go and eat egg tarts, portugese food. at night, take a ferry to hk, sleep. wake up, 2 days of good dimsum (roasted duck, maxim's, guess what? i have this food guide in HK, excited!), and great shopping (think H&M, UNIQLO, nice shoes, MARC JACOBS) that's it. simple. i dont have plans to go to disneyland or oceanpark, so none of those, then on the 6th at 11.55pm i arrive back to manila, spend time with family and friends, then fly back to singapore. shucks.

shit, everything is planned so well na, one thing lang though, i dont know pa kung sino kasama ko!!!! ang hirap magplan overseas, though i'm very positive na someone will join me in this trip. HAHA!

--

on another note, i want to celebrate my birthday in manila. i know that i will be back here in singapore on my birthday but i just wanted to celebrate an early one in manila. actually, naisip ko na where i want my birthday dinner to be, and i have told mom na din. hahaha! excited, i believe i have the reason to, i'm turning 25. pota! anyway, i will look forward to it, and look forward to planning my birthday dinner, from the restaurant (i have 2 options), desserts, et al. am just really excited. gawd!

--

off to another brutally painful week, let me read my archie double digest na so i can sleep na.

i believe
------

i twisted my ankle 3 days ago, and it was hurting really bad, but now its better, though i got some bandage and herbal stuff that i will apply later when i go home. i just want to rest, lately its getting hard for me to wake up, that its not even funny anymore. buti na nga lang deadma dito kung late.

qt sent a very nice email, that i have sent to you too, i forgot who i forwarded it na, but the normal people would receive it. it really helped a lot, cause i was reading that email during a time where i feel the heavy burden, but i dont want to say anything because i feel na ayaw ko na mag-reklamo. kakapagod na, i thought it would somehow be different, and yeah it is different, but, i just don't really know.

i also got an email from julette, i'm happy to be receiveng emails from people, it somehow reminds you that there are people who still remembers you even though...

gasso past and present! julia's birthday @ victoria court.

shucks shucks shucks.

BLEAK
------

lately, i feel like a headless chicken running in and out of the office, meeting after meetings, client call and deadlines. soon, ako na ang ma-dedead! since everyone in the office is feeling the pagod, nas decided to email everyone (not really everyone, but a selected few) to have dinner&drinks and just have time off to enjoy.

so mel, nas and me from servicing, together with kevin ang, kevin poh, dylan, and steph went to brewerkz in clark quaye. had some grilled chicken and ribs, washed it with iced lemon tea, and got fruit flavored beer. i don't really like drinking beer, so i wasn't able to finish my one glass. it was fun, and to think i actually like these people.

---

today, i met shiela, helen and mickey, went around bugis, window-shopped at haji lane, went to eat at altazaag and ice cream at pluck. i saw one nice pair nike, which sabi ni shiela was a good deal na daw, but no, tipid. then i went to 3, this jap guy who i knew from way back saw me, and asked how i've been and told him that i was so busy.. so chika-chika. i saw commes de garcons-fred perry leather bag in brown and red, it was NICE, asked the price -- S$699! leche. the jap guy told me na since i was a regular, he's gonna give me disocunt. well, i dont need the discount because i am not buying that bag.

i finally got mom the ox pendant she wants, she saw the one i got for a friends kasi, and she said she likes one din daw. pa-cute ang mommy, researched it, its actually from taiwan, cute naman talaga.

shiela is inviting us over to KL, should i go? i'm thinking of going. haha! think-think na lang muna.
