hong kong aka death march
------

our hong kong trip made my leg hurt so bad, that it sores until now. i wish i could put them to rest. i hated the weather, but i hated the tour guides even more, the photog person in shenzen were asking us to buy the stupid pictures for HKD 140, okay lang sila?!?! para sa isang plato at dalawang pirasong picture. sipain ko kaya sila!

but as always, the good part of the trip, was discovering new places, and trying new stuff. here are some pictures i want to share with you guys.

i love to take pictures of flowers, especially these type. nice color, and they all look so healthy.

this was taken in shenzen, beside windows of the world, a store that showcases the 2008 beijing olympics. they are selling all kinds of merchandise.

mickey mouse ice cream in disneyland.

a melodramatic moment in the bus. hahaha! wala na akong magawa nito, i was waiting for them, some people was shopping like there was no tomorrow!

bakit maganda itong picture na ito?! kasi art director ang kumuha niyan at isa lang akong hamak na strategic planner. hahaha! plus the fact that i was with beyonce and JLO

i like this picture because of it reminds me of one thing - FIELDTRIPS!

i like this because i was the one who took it. ang sincere ng picture. hahaha!

i bought a few stuff that i'm definitely excited to enjoy.. but i still can't cause im still so tired.
- my dog necklace!
- my muji milk tea and apple filled marshamallows
- my royce au lait chocolate

i will go back to hong kong whatever it takes, but ill go to bangkok and singapore first. unless free ang trip ko ah.. hehehe!

i like the bluewater, and how the lighting effect of the jellyfish.

fudge brownie from brownie factory. located at the ngee ann city mall. first, i was hesitating to get a piece, because a slice would cost SGD3-5. I think i went back there 3x and finally decided to get one.

topman/topshop located in orchard road. aside from the fact that topman is my favorite store, it is also located in my favorite street. sidenote: i went to all 4 topman stores in singapore, and all of the time i walked out with a plastic bag in hand.

i like the concept of this 7-11 store also located in the orchard road.

wet summer trip
------
i will post some of my favorite pictures during our subic trip. although we weren't able to go to the beach - which supposed to be the main purpose of our trip, i had to say i had fun watching prison break with my cousins. we ended around 230am na.

i was uber scared of this f*ckin tiger! pakainin ba naman ng buhay na manok sa harap ko. i was so wet, i thought blood was all over me. buti na lang tubig lang pala yun, galing daw kasi sa pond ang tiger. malay ko ba?!

our room in subic homes. super cold!

aristocrat in subic - boy's only.

the breakfast i prepared. mukha ba akong pro?!

inside zoobic - ostrich. did you know that the black one's are male, while those with grey hair were female, or vice-versa?! didnt really pay attention to it. sorry.

maiya ira aka blue lagoon
------

i've heard so much about blue lagoon, and how nice it was, and how it is one of the best places in the philippines. we took the boat ride from saud to maiya ira for 45 minutes, and the trip was worth the sunburn in my legs and back. the place was beautiful, the sand was so fine, i enjoyed the place tremendously. we went to have lunch in a nippa place, although we bought food from the outside. we got inihaw na isda, gulay, inihaw na squid, etc.

here are some of the pictures of the island:

a view from the boat, where i did get excited to take snapshots of the place. actually, when i was in there swimming, i felt like i was a little child - with no worries, no stress.. a kid thats excited to open presents and receive presents. that was exaclty how i felt. it was all fun, fun, and fun.

i took a picture of this cove, and actually many more but i dont want to put it all here. i loved the blue water - as in crystal blue, but i havent been to boracay, so i cant say which is better. loved the sun, sand, water, etc, etc.

i am soo looking forward to my next trip, or maybe the next place i would live in.... :)

finally at pagudpod...
------

after 3 hours of driving from vigan, we finally arrived at pagudpod. we stayed at saud beach resort and hotel. (www.saudbeachresort.com) it is quite costly compared to other places there, but i was too happy and comfortable with the place. on our last night, we ate at the resort, buffet, lobsters and curacha. saya diba?! the place is serene and beautiful, pang-family. although, we went to other places for the happening, which i personally didnt enjoy.

things i liked about the resort:
1. friendly people, good service.
2. good food
3. nice rooms, and clean CR's...
4. the duyan, and the tambayan..

early morning, around 630am...

one of the places na pwedeng tumambay. ganda diba? parang art-directed.

inside the hotel room; picture of the sun rising.. i love the sun, its beautiful and refreshing.

view of saud beach, from the boat.

this picture means relaxation!

next update: blue lagoon

joyride to the northern place (1st part) - VIGAN
------

pagudpod is one of the places that i really wanted to see, and with the 3-day weekend, we grabbed that instantly. we hit the road by early (3am) saturday morning. lester drove the first leg, to tarlac. anyway, im not so familiar with the regions so please bear with me. jeff took the second series from tarlac up until pangasinan. marc followed, and i was the last. from vigan to laoag to pagudpod. it took us about 15 hours to complete the trip.

the vigan stopover. we had lunch in cafe leona, well the food there wasnt that great. so i decided not to put any picture in this post. after lunch, we also took time to look at the nostalgic place... wish i could spend one night there. or maybe a week.

on the way to vigan.

bricks near the city hall that has the word "VIGAN".

clowning around with the kalesa. i liked the overall ambiance of the place. it was just really cool to be able to see and experience it.

with my high school friends.

this beautifuly designed cakes, saved my horrible lunch. i have never tasted okoy this good. i also loved their "taco" - thats how they call it, but it has onions and ground pork inside. P20 each, pwede na diba?
of course, i also tried their longanisa and i wasn't disappointed, i like longanisa to be maasim or maalat, and never wanted it to be sweet. i guess i just follow this rule of mine: when it comes to food, salt and pepper to taste; and for desserts, sweetness matters.
next post: pagudpod... :)

addendum to previous posts...
------

we (family) went to our province in nueva ecija for the holy week. here is a picture when we went to the fields, where rice, and onions are planted.

fat michaels.. we tremendously enjoyed this place. and we will bring ahya ichi and achi michelle here once they are back in manila for their vacation. im excited. :)

sakae sushi in the fort, with my family. ordered chicken ramen, chicken sukiyaki, salmon sashimi, sushi, crabroll sushi, and etc. i actually forgot what we ordered, but here are some snippets...
