some updates

1. bon with tere just came here for a holiday. i met them 9pm already andw e were supposed to have dinner. we met in takashimaya, so we grabbed my favorite brownies in the world, 3 pieces for 11 dollars, not cheap but it was GOOOD. i enjoyed that, i just hated the part where i needed to stay and do OT, since i was rushing cause they were waiting for me.

2. lester just booked his flight, he'll be here from sept 13 to 23, so around 11 days. he'll stay with me, since maghahanap daw din siya ata ng work. i wonder ano pwede mapadala ko sa kanya?! yung painting ko kaya.. haha! chocnut, becky's cake?! arg. i better write my list na.

3. august - bon was here, september - lester will be here; october - ill be going back to manila for 5 days, pano na kaya sa next few months.. just a nice thing na all my close friends nagpupunta rito for anything - holiday, find work, and important thing is that i get to spend time with them and not miss home ng sobra.

4. si law, the copywriter here na pinoy, last day na niya on friday since he is here just for 1 month, so i told him na we'll have dinner sa newton hawker center or maybe sa east coast food village. pero ive tried both, and its okay, east coast mas cheaper nga lang kasi yung newton puro kano ang kumakain eh. pero kinda nasusuka na ako sa dami ng kinakain ko.

5. yesterday nagluto kami ng sinigang na ulo ng salmon.. HAHA! ang galeng ko na magluto, pero magplansta medyo sablay pa din.. pero wala na akong pakelam, ang hirap kaya! kahit lukot, pwede na yan!

6. my cousin invited filipino friends over this coming saturday for a barbecue dinner by the pool. so i promised achi michelle (cousin's wife) that i helped her in every way i can to prepare for this party.. haha. we are planning the menu, and etc. sanay naman na kami dito, and i think we are a good team at doing this. so no hassle at all..

hay, at least i have a lot of things to look forward too, at hindi lang ako nastuck here. i hope i can enjoy all these things, so as not to waste my time fretting on small details. ayaw ko na kasi ng ganun, ayaw ko na magreklamo, tinatamad na ako.

well, its been 2 weeks, and i feel so tired that i needed to reward myself somehow. i had a lot of excuse to do it, and planned to do it since two nights ago.. haay. i went to orchard road, and you know there are only 2 thigns to do there: eat and shop. so i did one - shop! haha. i actually had an early lunch since i woke up early, and cooked for all of us here. so by 12nn im out of the condo to go to orchard.

my main reason was to basically buy presents for my dad and chicho (brother), their birthday is coming up.. 16th and 19th respectively. and sinced bon is going to here next week, i'll ask him to bring the stuffs i bought back to manila. well, i bought 5 shirts in TOPMAN, 2 for my dad, 1 for my brother and 2 for me. HAHA! i also got 2 POLO's from G2000, they were on a sale.. only 19SGD for a polo - it truly is a bargain. actually, i saw a lot of things i liked from zara, hush puppies, a/x and topman as well.. but i bought everything, i guess pulubi na ako ngayon. HAY! babalikan ko yan pero sale is upto tomorrow lang ata. i guess there will be other days, singapore naman kasi parating sale, malas mo na lang kung di mo maabutan.

i also braved and went in to LV, whew.. such a nice store. if you are one of my friends, then you'd know that i always wanted a card holder from LV, not a wallet but a card holder. and so i asked arounjd for assitance. a huge tray of card holder was in front of me.. they dont have prices attached only bar codes, and so they search for the prices in the computer.

1 leather card holder = 320SGD, but i inquired about the MATT LV holder, 370SGD. so there i've got their prices, now im thinking if i'm gonna get this for me. HAHA! or a 2GB NANO worth 250SGD (haaay decisions decisions)

speaking of wallets, i am eyeing this wallet from MJ (marc jacobs).. but i am afraid out of stock na siya kasi last season pa ata. but i am sure that meron yun sa KL, kasi dito parang store na halo-halo lang siya with miu miu, etc. so not the real marc jacobs store. so yun ang wallet na gusto ko at hindi LV.

so im letting this thought go, knowing me, ill think 200 times before purchasing anything anyhow. haha!

first week is over !!

i'm done with my first week. it was challenging yet fruitful. im kinda okay with things now, i mean its better than what i expected. i just hope that things will be just as okay.. i've heard people say things, but i guess i should base things on my experience and not with what others have experienced.

things i'm excited about..

1. i'm excited for october to come. aside from my angkong's (lolo) 90th birthday, im getting to see my family and friends again! yay! im so looking forward to go shopping on the 21st, and touring the whole of manila again. haha!

2. i want august to end and receive my first paycheck! hahaha. not that im gonna do lots of shopping, but i will defintely buy some things.

3. im excited for my family and friends visit here. i have already planned a couple of things for them, where to go, what to eat.. etc. haha! east coast food village, ikea's meatballs, orchard, merlion park, bugis, chinatown, sushi, ben and jerry's etc. haha!

4. im looking forward to go to KL and BKK.. thats my ultimate plan next year. i mean, i gotta have a vacation too.. and if i am not going back to manila since my family is visiting me here next year. i might as well visit other countries. and i want to go home for 2007's christmas since im gonna spend chirstmas 2006 here. arg!

if everything goes as planned, im going to KL in feb 2007, chinese new year, ill be spending it there. i just dont know if im doing it all by myself or if anyone would accompany me. i mean i gotta follow my travelling philosophy.. either you travel with a really good friend or travel alone. haha! by the way, from SG, going to KL, it just takes 4 hours by coach and would cost 28SGD. cheap huh?!

some of the things i miss...

1. of course my family and ang kakulitan ni aggie at chicho.. ordering at mcdo for midnight snack.. tambay kay ako bot, reading my horoscope everyday.
2. my friends.. ang pangungulit ni che.. ang pagtawag ni lester just to ask me ano ang oorderin niya sa starbucks.
3. pagtanong ni bon ng masarap na resto at bagong music.
4. my normal day where i would go to the office, and have bfast (jollibee..) and chismis with people. then have (fried chiocken and limepo kay multitasking manang) lunch then goin home.. yun lang daw talaga ni look forward ko. hahaha!
5. tambay at ainee's pad, with ISAW and WINE. sosyal ba to o hindi?! haha.
6. kwento with inay, malu and ena.. brainstorming was never meant to be this fun!
